Create your own sterling silver ring or pendant
A relaxed, hands-on introduction to jewellery making, centred around traditional wax carving and the lost wax casting process.
During the workshop you will carve a ring or pendant in wax, which will then be professionally cast into solid sterling silver. Each piece is unique, shaped by your hands and the marks you choose to leave.
No previous experience is necessary.

The process
Wax carving is a centuries-old technique used by jewellers to create organic, sculptural forms. You will work directly in jewellers’ wax, exploring shape, texture and surface.
Once finished your wax design is transformed into metal using a professional lost wax casting process.
What you will make
You will hand carve either;

a ring, or
-
a pendant
Your carved wax will be cast in sterling silver, then polished and finished by Louise, ready to wear or gift.
Finished silver pieces are usually ready for collection or posting within a few weeks.
